Closest Airports:

• Cairo International Airport (CAI) – The main airport, closest to the venue and hotels.
• Sphinx International Airport – A convenient option, just a 45-minute taxi ride from the venue and accommodations.

Transportation from the Airport:

• Hotel Airport Pickup – Both JW Marriott Cairo and Renaissance Cairo Mirage City Hotel offer airport pickup services. Flight details must be provided at least 48 hours in advance.
• Uber – Recommended for convenience. Please carry cash, as Uber drivers in Cairo often prefer cash payments.

Visa on Arrival – Visitors to Egypt can obtain a visa upon arrival at approved airports, including Cairo International Airport (CAI).

• Cost: The visa fee is $25 USD (cash only). Egyptian officials prefer US dollars, but you may also be able to pay in British pounds or euros.
• Where to Get It: Kiosks are located in the arrival hall before you reach the immigration counters.
• Validity: The visa on arrival is valid for up to 30 days.

No prior application is needed, but ensure you have the required cash ready to speed up the process.

Buses will transport guests from JW Marriott to the church and back to the wedding reception at the JW Marriott Clubhouse.

If you are driving, please use your own car.

Final transport details will be shared closer to the date. Buses will leave on time, so please do not be late.

Cairo in May is warm and sunny, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C (68°F) in the early morning and evening to 35°C (95°F) during the day.

Humidity levels are low, and there is very little chance of rain.

We recommend wearing light, breathable clothing during the day and bringing a light jacket for cooler evenings.

Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are advisable for daytime outdoor activities.

We adore children, but for our wedding reception, we kindly ask that children under 12 stay at home.
